You might die at middle age (50+). Keep that in mind. Don't assume everyone lives up to 100.

Some would assume they'll get a second wife at 100.

I'd rather be able to switch careers and do something fresh in my 50s but without the fear of financial downgrade

At 50, you still want a career switch? Planning to work till 70? It is about time to take a back seat bros. moe importantly, need to work out how you are going to spend your time meaningfully. $ is very important but not everything.

I am classed as Pioneer generation. I wanted to retire but my wife and children want me to go on. Any job, just do not stay at home, must make myself active. They do not want to take care of a Dementia person. Is it a good reason to work on?

I offer very low rate to be the second photographer, but no taker. I guess low rate = poor skill. Next try would be dish washer at leass $1000 a month.

    You can fly to Sydney?

Jokes aside everyone has to really sit down to figure what he wants to do and can do. This is the hardest part. Everything is relatively easy after that. I can't help you because everybody faces a different set of circumstances.

    All the best.

    Anyway, thank you Bro Sion.

I will offer hand carry cargo service and fly to Sydney if I have the chance.

Culture and society attitudes affect people in Japan. It may affect SG too.
