Default Taking photo of Neon sign board

Hi any advice on taking neon sign boards on building and or shops during blue hour or evening?
Mainly a few areas of note here,

    1. Expose for both neon sign board and background of building
    2. Prevent light from neon from flaring and blurring out details
    Just keep shooting

not all signages are in the same brightness, some are brighter some are dimmer, just leave it at it is is accptable most of the time.

if you want all to be look in same brightness, take many shots and merge them in photoshop, that is what most people being doing, on top of waiting for perfect timing.

btw, interesting to know you also post this thread.

What have TS tried so far that isn't giving the result u r looking for..? Just wondering..
I haven't tried shooting neon lights.. but sounds like something interesting.. camping here to see what other advise there r..
Off head I'm thinking can probably +/- a few exposures n use a blackcard to prevent overexposure.. then layer the images..
Leave nothing but footprints, take nothing but photos..~ ;)
