Default bellows

all are ok
prices ok
go for folding bellows type make sure bellows do not leak
supremely portable
large 6x6 image
schneider lens is good
solida is made in "occupied west germany"

soon after world war two. when usa army was occupying west germany
usa did not do it to take over germany
they did it to protect west germany from russia
which would gobble up west germany if usa army was not there
the marshall plan helped west germany to rebuild and prosper

The prices are a bit on the low side. If you can actually secure most of them at the prices you listed, then consider them a good buy.

I personally have a couple of Vito Bs, excellent little cameras which have stood up to the test of time. most examples I come by are in pretty good condition. Expect to pay about $150 upwards here in Singapore.

Default Franka solida 3

http://www.jennyandernie.co.uk/Old%2...a%20Solida.htm

http://www.certo6.com/cam/franka.html

I bought my Franka Solida 3 at S$500 . If you can find one at $90, It's a steal. Sharp image with the fast f2.8 Schneider-Kreuzach lens.
Very interesting camera, many steps to take before an image is capture.

1. **** Prontor shutter

2. Wind film to frame ( cocking the shutter does not advance film, works separately)

3. Find the focusing distance through the rangefinder( Rangefinder not in viewfinder, it's on a seperate finder next to it) Distance scale on dial.

4. Set the focusing distance on the lens

5. Set aperture

6. Compose and shoot

Selling mine at $300, interested ?
