    Seriously, we should never waste resources unnecessarily. However, if we are spending or wasting more resources in the name of saving the earth, it is even worse.

    Singapore is an autocratic society. When leader says something, people just follow without understanding the underlying principle. We are obsess with recognition and certifications. To be number ONE.

    When things aren't moving, they pass laws. It is timely someone higher up start auditing how much being spent that are totally not green at all and discarded.

    Compare to Europe where most of the green initiatives started, we are over doing with lesser results. Their 'consultants' are here preaching what they aren't doing there!

    Singapore is more into "greenwashing" than anything real. Eco-malls and 300 hp eco-cars, not a blink until the end is near.
