Below are my comments ...

1st shot
Pro Critique
- nice background color (smooth green)
- good composition
Con Critique
- DOF not enuff
- Object is a bit soft
Recommendation
- prefer to compose more to left hand side to see its eyes

2nd shot
Pro Critique
- good composition
Con Critique
- DOF not enuff
- Object is a bit soft / blur
Recommendation
- try focus its eyes (apply to all insects)

3rd shot
Pro Critique
- good composition
Con Critique
- DOF not enuff
- Object is out of focus .. due to lack of shutter speed
Recommendation
- prefer to compose with its wing tilt up
- try focus its eyes (apply to all insects)

4th shot

- Background look dark
- Object is a bit soft / blur
Recommendation
- prefer to compose with its wing tilt up

5th shot

I can see tt your DSLR CCD is not cleaned ... can see a dot at the same spot of all the shots... (hint : 1st shot , just below the dragonfly)

... care to share ur settings and setup ..

Wow, Megaweb Thanks for your very professional comments. You're right the CCD is not clean, had a hard time trying to get all those bugger out but.........gave up eventually.

My setup are: 80-200 + TC-20E (2X tele-convertor) + PN-11A (extension tube), mounted on a tripod.

Settings: ISO 125 (ISO400 for 2nd & last shot) f11-16, shutter ranges from 1/2 to 1/40 sec.

I had a hard time focusing manually as the viewfinder is pretty dark, will try again soon and post the result. Happy shooting everyone
