Although glossy photos are prone to fingerprint marks, i feel they look sharper and more contrasty. Hence i always print in glossy...

My preference leans towards gloss prints.

BTW, anyone of u still hear the thing about "Matt prints don't fade. Glossy prints fade very fast" again?

Glossy paper will always have higher contrast ratio than their lustre or matte counterparts. If prints are sleeved in mylar, fingerprints are not a problem.

I thought there is another surface....pearl?

Actually there is a few from Glossy, Semi Matt/Pearl and Matt.

For Black and White, a Semi Matt/Pearl and Matt works better but for Colours I still think colour reproduction is better.
