No, I will not let her post.
It's her own decision.
I will encourage and tell all my friends to views

no question you made an initial comment, I raised doubts on the validity of the comment, you appeared to retract your initial comment, and we dropped the issue cos its now a non-issue in view of your retraction.

Wow!! This sounds pretty serious . Like you are being blackmailed emotionally (no flames please). It may be a situation that is beyond you & one that requires professional assistance.Originally Posted by dennisc
Its all based on upbringing and culture, i guess. The locals will definately go against it, whilst the Westerners would like it.Say if ur bf is ang moh, he'll prob go "What's the big deal/ If u have a sexy and attractive body, go ahead. I want the whole world to know that I have a sexy gf!"...
On my personal thinking, only a bimbo would do that.No females in sane mind would enjoy men reading her blog just because she posted her nude photo there...
I actually did not 'appeared to retract' as I am not train in the field on laws of minors. Thus, I don't want to comment on it on whether they exist or not. Are you familiar with with such laws or have friends who are familiar with it? It will be good to know.Originally Posted by vince123123
In Britain, there are very strict laws on shooting minors in nude(I read once in a english photography magazine). Photographers are known to be charge for shooting childrens in nude.
Actually, gals should answer this the other way round,:Originally Posted by jodie_tan
Do you mind your boyfriend or husband posting his nude picture on the net?
My bf can go ahead and do it, that's if he wants pepole to see hm nude which i think he won't. But IF he does, go ahead, don't come back to me crying!Originally Posted by Hommie
Just curious, what is one trying to express when they decide to put their nude online? The most common reason i heard is that because they are still young, they would like to capture the memory before they go old. Rather valid reason, but most of the time it is kinda of private collection and maybe shown only to close friends, etc. The next common are the celebreties and most of the time their reason would be they think their body is good and like to share with others (but most of the time they charge for their books!)
So for the rest, what is the reason for posting a nude? Anyway i do think that some of the nudes out there by those jap models really look great, but most of the time i think woman with clothes on looks better than without. Anyone else with the same thought??
exhibitionism, heard of it?

I'm sure some people here know my stance regarding the whole spg thing, which is it's no big deal
my girlfriend has had nude pictures of herself taken by a photographer in australia, and I myself have done nude photos of her.Would I like her to post it up on a site frequented by Singaporeans? No,because there is no appreciation for the human body as a beautiful form in Singapore, and the people who make noise about it being disgusting and immoral are many times those people who actually secretly look out for porn all the time
I wouldn't mind having it posted in an European context where the nude is not seen as disgusting and you'll actually find alot of nudes present in their advertising.
it's all about context.
benign, it depends on the intention of the person. I shoot alot of models and we do semi nude shots involving uncovered breasts and whatnots, to us we understand that we're involved in the creation of an image, and we will go all the way to create this beautiful image. I would never demean my models for doing that.Originally Posted by Benign

Because it makes pornography looks good feels good are good.I don't understand how doing it for charity makes it any different.
What is pornography? What is artistic nude?
When we were apes trying to call ourselves humans by wearing clothes and having set of laws to determine what is socially acceptable.
Now we are humans.....some decided to go arts by having more provocative nudes and trying to justify his/her says as socially acceptable.
Animal instinct? Freedom of speech? Or just plain ignorant?
Personally I am not saying that it is bad, but whatever you do. Please keep your fetish, SM, beastiality at home and at bay. Chinese old saying: "When people give you an inch, you want a FOOT"
FYI, this is a poll. It is asking for people opinion. Not taking people's words out of context, argue for the sake of arguing.
Photography is not just about nude, and I do love my gf in cheongsam than lingeries......it is her heart not her body.
Dun blame me for what I say, if you dun like it. After all, I openly admit for having an IQ of 92. Unless, you are below mine....who wish to take it seriously.
If you look at the poills, actually it is 50-50.Originally Posted by Paul_Yeo

If your girlfriend or wife handles everything properly, there shouldn’t be much problem such as lecherous men visiting her site. Perhaps you should appreciate her gut and her confidence about her body as many girls are usually unhappy about their figures and want to go on diets.
- The kinds of crowd she desires to attract (professional, artistic photographers or lecherous men),
- The image she wants to portray (an artistic photography model or a pornography model),
- And the ways she markets/advertises herself (whether her site is listed in public search engine, did she simply give her site address to just anyone or only to photographers, and etc).
However, by nature, humans are egoistic and selfish. Therefore, it is natural for a man to stop his girlfriend or wife from posting her nude photos online.
Haha, ladies should answer the other way around instead of at the perpective of man. Change the question toOriginally Posted by elise_ng

I did see alot of girls wearing those sexy short while I was in SG (not that I minded, as long as they have nice legs....), this was something I was amazed at as I noticed people were still conservative.........Originally Posted by mattlock
