Default "Trapped"

Hi all,

Another tryout with FZ and PS. Supposed to be abstract through digital imaging...

As usual, all comments good or bad are welcomed and appreciated.

Very nice... Can you share with us your workflow for this? Very interested in knowing how you did it.

You just did this with the eyes. Is it possible to blend the whole face in the tree? Just wondering.

Hi all,

thanks for the comments... I posted this same picture in different websites and getting so many mix comments which is great for me...

Anyways, the PS workflow is actually very very simple.

1. Happened to see the bark that has two small sockets that looks like eyes. Shoot it.

2. Ask my daughter to pose so that I can take her full face. Told her not to smile so the eyes look a little sad. Shoot it.

3. Cut the eyes part of the daughter's face and paste it on the bark. Adjust by scaling and placing the eyes where the sockets are. Erase the unwanted parts around the eyes with eraser told at 50% and soft edges. Erase according to the need.

4. Voila!!!

Sound too simple? Yes it was, less than 5 minutes of PS works.

I'll draw out the workflow if you really want me to show the procedures (through screen capture).
