Hi friends, I would like to know how to use CPL correctly??
Here is my sample. With CPL even worst in my pictures!! I will post both with and without CPL pictures for u guys to refer.. Than :respect: ks in advance! :respect: WITHOUT CPL ![]() WITH CPL ![]() you guys pls refer the color.. I'm not sure whether white balance problem or is my CPL problem.. or used not on the right time? |

There nothing wrong with the 2nd pic..
The use of polarizer is to cut out the glare of the sun removing reflection from mirror and water try using it in noon time |

I'm not sure if you guys would agree with me. But personally I'd set my white balance again with the CP on. The 2nd pic is little too cool. Use the manual white balance.

There is nothing wrong with the CPL on...
can OT? where is the place you took the photos?

hi fz5,
cpl is best used when the sun is at a 90 degree angle from you eg. to your left, right, or up (noontime). then only will you be able to see the effect it has on your pics. |

I'm guessing you're using a Hoya C-PL.. Try to set to daylight WB and shoot instead..
