Default Up close and personal with Tiger beetle

One of my favourite insect They are so beautiful.
Came across one that pose for me... and that's a RARE treat.
Hope you like them.

fierce looking insect. Came across one before.......dunno how you all do it, it kept on moving, and could not get it to stop!

Well taken! Nice details and a Very colourful insect! though I find the 2nd pic the flash abit too harsh????

Yeah .. I know... they are very difficult to shoot at close range.

In fact, I find the flash is too harsh for both pict. But since chances like this don't come very often, I decided to post it anyway. Only can blame my skill

Hi Falcon, AMK garden have alot of tiger beetles. Bring you go "shop shop" if there's an opportunity
