Default M42 with optical element for Nikon D70

anyone know where can i get those m42 adapter with optical element?
or anyone has experiences in mounting a leica mount or M42 screw zeiss mount lense into D70 body ?


** Anyone of you know how much for a used Leice 50mm /f1.4 *HST lense?

K13 in peninsula plaza, but be warn they charge quite expensive. Can try your luck at second hand camera shops they some time carry them. Or Ebay if you can wait. In ebay they have the non optical one which you dun want, so becareful there also.

Do you know how much they charge ?
or anyone know how much k13 charged?
and normaly how much this kind of adapter cost ? m42 with optical element.

They(K13) ever quote me $65.00. It use to be only $30.00 back at the good old days. Oh you can also try Mr Wong Fotographis at lucky chinatown

you mean the M42 with optical element for Nikon is about SGD65?
can it be fit into nikon D70 with a zeiss lense? ever heard about this?

There two type the different is that one have an optical element where the other dun. The one dun have a optical element is useless because it dosen't allow focusing at infinity. The one K13 quote to me sometime back was the one with the optical element. It should allow to be use in any nikon camera.

IF it really can focus on infinity,
i might get 1 for myself.
i'm addicted with the high color contract by the Zeiss output....

like FD to EOS adaptor with glass element, the element will degrade the image, so dont have high expectation for your setup.

True but nikon camera need the optical element to go infinity. Unless our frined change camera system.

i've deep **** in dark side...
fully nikon setup.
if you want i migrate to light side.....

my pocket and my financial will live in dark side...
