    oh no wonder... i was tinkin where to find such a serene scene at the beach...

    the opposite shoreline all looks like heavy industry....

    BTW, the 3 "stars" you all saw above the Punggol MRT were infact Venus, Mercury & Saturn in almost a line.

    Jupiter was directly above us at about 9pm.

    Wow! I am going to library to get some books on astronomy soon. I still cannot tell the diff between a star and planet.

    Hey, good work! I was wondering if the sky in Singapore was too light polluted to make star trials worthwhile. You've proved me wrong. Will hope to join you folks on 1 of these trips in the near future. Keep it up!

    Big bright dots are usually planets

    Actually, the RAW files are quite noisy, but if you tweak the WB, brightness & contrast, it gets rid of most. Once it's saved as JPG at 72dpi, it becomes nearly gone. You can still see some in the 4th & 5th last frames.
