Yup ... was using 12-24 for first 3 shots Thanks for the heads up

Like the pics. Thanks for sharing.

Which 12-24 was that? Tokina? Is it normal for 12-24 lenses to have this kind of distortion?

Hi seankyh, was using the nikon AFS 12-24 mm DX. Not sure about the other len, but distortion is pretty nasty on the wide (12mm) side of this len.

Most distortion can be corrected quite easily in PS. However, if the distortion involves foreground and background, than it won't be an easy fix in PS

erm...distortion should always involve fore and background together?? when can they be separated?

One example would be when your foreground subject is very near to the lens and your bg is very far behind. In such a situation, your foreground subject may be more distorted and than the bg ... so if you correct for subject ... bg may suffer.
