#1 is slightly overexposed, esp the snail neck and the branch.
#2 is nice. Did you use any lens or is it just the FZ20 only.... Just my 2c frank comments....hope you don't mind.....

Hi all, thanks for the comments. As you know, I'm still getting used to the FZ20 and this is the first time doing macro.... and hand held too. The first one is overexposed, yes, took another(see below) I covered the sun with one hand and shot with another....
The first shot was with a close up filter +3 and the 2nd was with the standard camera lens. tchuanye, please do comment and not worry about anything, I'm here to learn... ![]()

I prefer the overexposed shot though, it gives more vibrant, with colors and shades, the second photo though is not overexpose, it looks plain to me...

mm..i see some blue fringing on the snail. is that due to the lens lmitation?
I though the venus II engine was supposed to eliminate this as well? btw, good photos all the same...heh heh |
