I didn't know insects could retract their arms (or legs).
Saw this Skipper (I think it's called), having its front arms retracted, giving the impression that it is paiseh (shy). Both Arms Retracted (Looking Courteous) ![]() Right Arm Retracted ![]() Side View ![]() |

Shots were taken around 11:15 am.
The Skipper is around 3-4 cm. I've posted a cropped shot of the third pic, so that hopefully, it does not look so huge. (or may even larger )![]() |
