Loved the very last photo, perhaps you can give it a little luster.
Looks really ordinary, but I have an unexplainable love for it. |

Thanks. All photo straight from a G3 with no adjustment. Think what attracts in the last picture is the wave line.

I don't mind at all. Feel free.. The above photos are from my trip in Yr 2003, and shot also with a compact Digital Canon G3.
Anyway, my family drove from Melbourne to Adelaide and back... But didn't spend alot of time in Adelaide. |

Well, didn't manage to see sunset at Great Ocean Road, because was in a rush and reach there around 3 pm, and only for a short while we were leaving the place rushing to Mount Gambia (hope I got the name right)
Adelaide, very very sad, only spend a night there, and rest of the time is spend at Barossa valley and Hahndorf. Love Hahndorf though... very nice small little town Anyway last year, I went South Western Australia. Once I tidy up the pics a little will probably share some in the forum. |

Comments on 2 pics:
12 Apostles #1: Colours are good, but horizon way too tilted. The right side (the fences) could have cropped. Pano Lavender farm #1: A bit over exposed, too green, can barely see the purple colour there... Hope ya dun mind the negative remarks. Anyway, I have some photos from S. Aust also, drove around the regions for 3 days... if you would like to see. |

Don't mind at all.. Haha you remindered me the problem I have with the G3.... Frankly speaking for that shot, I am trying to use the swivel screen to do a low angle shot, however at that kind of lighting condition I can't see anything on the LCD. In fact, most of the 12 Apostles shot are by luck. Couldn't see to frame and the Optical finder is no good.
The Lavender farm first shot, agreed with you... Over exposed... Playing with the Pana function. |

Kangaroo island was quite nice, but the flinders ranges was quite a good drive... saw some hikers whose faces were covered entirely with houseflies. |

Chem: South Australia is a nice place. In fact love Adelaide more than Melbourne. Unfortunately, the trip is planned too tight... In fact over ambitious trying to visit as many places as possible.... You wouldn't believe how fast are we driving at certain part of the journey. Hahndorf is beautiful, but unfortunately didn't spend too much time there also, spend most of the time picking strawberry at a farm just out of hahndorf. The other nice places are Mount Grampian, Ballarat, and Cavandish...

Hahah! I was in South Australia for 2 years! I would say it was pretty boring in the city. Not much activity in adelaide. But i would prefer to recommend you to go outside the city and travel outbacks. The Great Ocean Road is one of the best places to visit. Too bad you did not wait for the sunset. It is a real beauty. Cheers!
