Default Advise needed: Lock for backpack

Due to the vulnerability of backpack while travelling, any idea what is the best value/security devices for back pack? Where to get them? and how much?
I really hate to watch over my backpack all the time, and worry about it in transits........

I came across two types of lock...one is like a large bag for the backpack to be put inside it, the other is a wire mesh type which wrapped around the backpack? Pacsafe is which type ley?

I found the wired mesh one is not fully protected lor......small hands or fingers can still slipped through.

PacSafe is the mesh... can slip through, but chances are that your valuables are not big enough (most of the time) to be taken out of the mesh

I am not concerned about things they stole, coz normally I can put all the electronics in the computrekker which I can still carry around. It is more dangerous to find 'things' they put inside your bag lor.

Just wouldn't want to end up being a 'courier' or 'mule' for anyone, particularly at border crossings.
