PRICE OF A NIKON D70s going up?

It this true ? Heard that there is a shortage of supply for a D70s causing the price to be up..Anyone brought a NIKON 70s recently ? what was the price ? Thinking of getting one really soon.

speculation says it's to accomodate the price drop expected before the launch of a new series of cameras. This will cushion the price drop later during the launch/pre-launch announcement. Something new might be launching soon.

i jus bought it about 2 weeks plus ago...

got it at 1988 for the whole kit set plus 2x 1Gb CF, Bag, Tripod, Dry box...

from Alan Photo... during the May promotion end 29 May

while buying some accessories during these 2 weeks, heard that there is a shortage... but price is around the same...

Got mine for $1722 15days ago. Lucky PLaza. Came with Nikon bag n kit lens, 1GB CF by Lexar.

Eh I thought the Coolpix 8800, 8700, 8400 are all 8MP Prosumer cam? So what is stopping you??????

PROSUMER DSLR? Is that one?

If you are talking about DSLR that has at least 8MP would be D2X which is 12.4MP

dun haf meh ??? 8400, 8700 and 8800 all is 8mp camera wad... although not DSLr, but they perform on the same aspect ? 8MP.... lol.. DSLR, D200 maybe the wait... lol... i also waiting for it..
