    Too complacent and always think that their is the best! Kodak suffered the same fade when they did not accept digital as a format for film.

    Gates is coming back to product design, and apple is rumored to be working on smart watch/healthcare.
    Samsung on the other hand...

    If anyone remembers, AIWA, a subsidiary of Sony, also closed shop in 2006.

    If I recall correctly, it was a joint venture at the start that produced electronic products that's more competitively priced than the premium Sony (but there are exceptions), eg like the walkman revolution in the 80s.

    That is a big loss.

    Loeb is approaching Sony after shareholders lost more than $100 billion in market value since 2000.
