Default Sweden - Post processed

Heres sharing some shots taken while i was in sweden..unfortunately it was gloomy and rainy for most parts..so i did some post-processing..comments appreciated..willl post more when i have time..

i think you overdo the saturation of the colours in PS...

I for one feels that the saturation is quite needed, since the plain sky was involved. However, the colour were not well-balanced, in my point of view.

Thanks for comments. I prob did oversaturate esp pic 2.But personally i also liked the effect.as the intent is not for it to be real..since the original pic is really very very blend..wil try to play with the saturation levels to see what works best..

You could have digitally removed the crane in #2, should be a piece of cake.. but some pple prefers to leave it as original.

I personally like the crane to be inside, as it adds an additonal element of interest.

Awesome series!

I like the crane to be in #2. else it will be too void at the top right hand corner. BTW it looks X-processed.

But, how do u create the cloudy misty effect on #3? Pls share! It's

Last pic lamp merged with background. Just wondering, is your monitor calibrated?

Thanks. No 2 is cross processed based on the action curve that data1ore shared some weeks ago..awesome ps action.
for no3, i used optik verve filter, one of the effects..cant remember which actually..but prob the dreamy effect..

Yups you are right..unfortunate that i did not use a more shallow depth of field...is something wrong with the colours..the monitor is not calibrated..you are right..

Hi Novello76,

especially for #2, #4 & #5 -- the colors are just the way I'd like to remember them when I was in Stockholm + the dreamy softening adds to the "faded" memories in me. Nice series!
