BlueAngle, are you using a DC or a flim camera?
The monkeys are quite blur and the picture is quite white. Were you forcusing at the monkey? If you were, the camea will be bluff. The camera saw "dark" and thought there was not enough light, so it will open a bigger aperture or reduce the speed to let in more light, hence causing overexposed.
