Default Rewriting history in school text books

    Does it still work?
Previously school children can be brainwashed through their text books.
Nowadays people are connected to the Internet and can read other versions.

Guess the very poor command of English by most Japanese will help their govt to cover it up, since they don't understand the differing versions in English language on the Internet.

I think history is good reference for decision making at times.... and learn from other people and their mistakes...

Yeah true. We all need to learn from our past, and "not let history repeat itself".

That is what they say. I don't think so in 2014. Both not ready. Both will build up military for a showdown 10 or 20 years down the road.

If members had done things wrongly in the past, and show to us they have turnned over a new leaf, they will be forgiven.

There are many such examples here, just let them share this with you.

Well, it depends on who wrote it.
As some bro mentioned, history is not about facts, it is about perspectives.
