Default New owner of D70s

Hi, just bought my new D70s over the weekend.

I will be helping to take pictures for a small company event, what are the necessay equipments that I must have to cover the shots?

Advices? thanks

what kind of events? iindoor or outdoor? day or night? will there be large group photo? sports event or function? hee.

a day time indoor event... my company has a small closed door mini product exhibition. kana arrowed to take pics... since gt new cam, want to try it out.
advices???

Apart from the usual spare batteries, CF cards, I would recommend that you have a flash if it is an evening event.

PS: If you dun mind, can share where and how much you paid for your cam?

If can, good to go onsite beforehand, take a few shots with WB bracketing, muck around with other settings, so that you'll know what's the best config before the event. (also good excuse to use the camera )
but if you take RAW then no need liao... muck around with software later

u got flash?...will need 1 to get good results in your indoor shoots....good luck mate

no, looking at the SB-600. Burnt a hole in the pocket after getting D70s.

haha that's the chain reactions after u start to own a DSLR. more things will come.
maybe u try to look in the B&S for a 2nd hand flash 1st.

Siong 1 more SB800 will be better then u, get the SB600...
the performace u will be amaze.

Pls enlighten me.........if subject falls within range of both SB600 and SB800, why would a SB800 be better????

i think u can do a search on SB800/ Sb600..
this 2 flash issue had been discuss for quite sometime.
