I'd go with the PC anytime. Windows XP has solitaire and pinball.

    well, ok, not all.

you see, macs are always marketed to people who are into 'design' or first-time users and not towards hardcore computer users.
you will be surprised to find there are a lot of computer illiterates using wintel pc too.

think of it there are even some computer literates (got such word?) who can assemble a diy pc, install and tweak windows and yet for some inexplicable reason decided to double click on an .exe attachment and end up getting infected by virus

but sadly, now is not the time to buy mac because, as mentioned earlier, Apple is switching to Intel chips which will mean that current powerPC-based macs will be software-compatibility-obsolete come 2007.

i'd still recommend OS X, though, because of its ease of use and because generally less people use mac so it's not economically viable for hackers/crackers to program viruses/adware/spyware for mac platform. so it's safer, for now.
Current Macs have many years left in them...

So has anyone came up with a conclusion as to which is a better system? I guess not. Now that Mac has introduced their Mighty Mouse... I wonder what PC manufacturers will come out with. A kung-fu keyboard? Hmmm....

I am still sticking to my Windows XP. The Microsoft Narrator is kinda retarded but its fun to play during lunch time. hehe...

Which typewriter model are you using? The true mechanical with the black and red ribbon type or the newer electronic with memory buffer and LCD display version?

i think there is. i remember my friend playing something similar.

btw...there are more games for mac nowadays. not as many as windows of course. but have. eg. worms 3d, football manager, call of duty, etc.

personally i enjoy playing the freeware/shareware games..somehow i find them more enjoyable.
