#6 is more suitable for the caption "speed" cos of the motion blur.

I like the captions, they really help add a lot of focus to the message that the photos try to convey.

the captioning, plus the top and bottom greying out, adds to the presentation points. well done!

thanks for the encouragement especially coming from an experienced sports photographer. i'm extremely new to fast action/sports photography and quite bad at doing sports coverage, lots to learn from the experts here

eikin, the main important thing is that you did put in effort in the overall presentation, which is probably just as important as getting a usable shot. without suitable descriptions, viewers would be left guessing the intention of the shot, or what's happening in the photo.

in this case, since it seems that nobody was wearing a numbered vest, it would be crazy just trying to put names to the players, not forgetting the helmets too... so this is probably the best you could do.

keep it up, will see you at some event in the future, i guess! by the way, are you interested to help out for a charity sports event this sunday?

Nice pictures! I like the descriptions on the pictures as well, and the design for pictures 1 and 6. If you made them into postcards, I would buy them! (Provided they're not too expensive... I'm rather broke at the moment.)
