Default Some field (athletics) action

SAAA's 3rd AllComers Meet held on 5/6/05 at Gombak stadium. Despite the name, most of the athletes taking part were from the schools.

1.

Starting the glide...

2.

Launching the shot...

3.

Over enthusiastic follow-through, fouling the attempt

4.

Leaping through the air in the Men's Long Jump.

5.

Cycling through the air in an attempt to gain more distance

What lens did you use for this event? AF-D 80-200 ??? and what settings?

i'm not too clear about the regulations in the past, but as far as i know/understand, we weren't allowed anywhere near the track nor the jump pits to shoot... did you seek clearance to do so?

good effort with the captioning, and effort in coverage. i wouldn't know otherwise the event has shifted from being held around my area to elsewhere...

Shots were taken with a AF-D 80-200 on either Aperture or Manual mode. Javelin shots were with an additional 2x teleconverter.

Other than the long jump shots, the rest were taken from the grandstand area. The long jump pit was at the opposite end of the stadium, so had to walk there.
