Default After 20 years, which are the photos you will look at?

I am seeing lots of wonderful landscapes, portraits, events, wedding being captured with digital cameras nowadays.

I have recently starting scanning all my 20+ years film into digital formats. When I look at these old photos, I skipped those shots of landscapes, strangers' face that I have captured, animals, buildings, etc. The only photos that matters are those of my families and friends WITH myself in the photos.

Am I alone in this? If you are the same as I am, will this influenced the genre of photos that you will take for the next 20 years?

Human are selfish in nature. So it is natural for everyone to do that 20yrs later. Your memory of others would not be as vivid as those of yourself and your loved ones.
Provided , of course, that you would still be able to retrieve the digital ones.
Printed photos tend to keep longer IMO.

I believed the photos that mattered will be lost in the amount of digital "thrash" being generated. Imagine a burst mode of 10 shots of your baby laughing instead of a single shot of your baby laughing.

This prove that people always like to look at themselves when they are slimmer, more muscular, less wrinkles and have more hair on their head

That is why I always like to look at my NS days photos
