Hi to all,saw the thread on lomo-users recently in this forum and thought that lomography is still rather active in this website...I myself is a holga user(pretty impressed with the results too!!)However for this website,there don't seem to be a place for lomo-users to share their ideas and learn from one another...Thus I've suggested for another separate forum on lomography itself ..However,the moderator told me that to get this done i need to have some people who are also interested in this idea as it would be a total waste of clubsnap resources to open up a forum where no one participates in actively...Thus, can i have a name-list of lomo-users so as to get this done efficiently?I believe that sharing is the best way to learn,thus,lomo-users please give me full support for this ...

why start a new section for the sake of having it termed lomography?

if i remember correctly, when they were changing the name of this section, there was a poll. and in the poll, lomography was an option.

why it wasn't chosen is because lomo is restrictive as a brand name (here, anything that's not conventional is shared). besides, holga isn't really lomography per se. it's not an official LOMO cam, if you get what i mean.

i really don't think we need a new section. just share what you want here. i've seen lots of people share stuff in AP. ndroo, max etc. keep what we have here, and just post more to share and learn.

a new section won't guarantee more learning or sharing if everyone here continues to just view and forget (oh well, i'm guilty of it too! hahaha).
