    Default NSA saga

Contradictory rulings by Federal judges. They seem to hv forgotten what they said in 2003, when 911 was still fresh in their mind.

They talked about a new prevention paradigm. One of anticipation and imagination of emerging scenarios, puzzle pieces of which that hv not come into alignment.....

"All good things come with a price".
Can't help quoting the wisdom of our dear PM again. He is so right!
How can you demand gov to do something for national security and yet tie their hands.
You hv to pay a price for that!

The question is how much? And are we paying too high a price.

Flavour of the moment is to denigrate NSA. Especially later during 2016 US presidential elections when this is the politically safe thing to say.

They spy on other government leaders? But that is what everyone wants to do, if only they had the means, technology and expertise to do so. But then again, only if the particular target government leader is important enough. For example, have not heard of any complaints of NSA spying on Bhutan's leader who talks about "gross national happiness" as a flaky excuse for poor governance and not delivering concrete progress.

There are nut-cases who rise to power. One of them is now threatening to take over Bangkok.

The world is not a friendly place. The young Kim fed his uncle alive to be eaten by starving dogs.

USA needs the NSA to counter the future bad hats similar to Hitler, Hideki Tojo, Stalin, Saddam, Gaddafi, Pol Pot, etc...
