Hi,I'm a holga(lomo camera) user....I found that clubsnap is actually rather efficient as people are able to share as well as gain knowledge among fellow csers...However,I find that a type of photography was never really mentioned in this site which is lomography...Though lomo cams are often regarded as toy cameras,I think that it is still something worth talking about.Afterall, people have unleased the potential of these cameras and won awards with them too....Thus,I would suggest that a forum for lomography to be set up so as to let lomographers to share what they know and improve their photography skills.Hope that this suggestion will be accepted and that csers will support this idea

Hi shadow,
Thanks for your suggestion. As with all our sub-forums, the admins need to be assured that there's a sizeable group or gathering within CS itself who are interested in this type of photography before they will commit the resources to creating another sub-forum for lomography. This was how the Underwater and IR photography sub-forums began, as well as some of the other "brand"-specific categories. Once it's obvious that the number of interested "lomographers" are large enough to warrant a sub-forum of their own, CS will do so accordingly. My suggestion is to start a thread asking who is interested in lomography, and perhaps some other threads to discuss more lomo-related topics. Good luck! The Moderator ClubSNAP |
