I think it is sure to be a fiasco. I was driving through just now with very light traffic and everyone had to go at 60 to turn into the ECP. With heavy traffic sure jam. I think this is another of LTA's disastrous road design. So sad, we paid good money.

I like the MCE, at night it's a perfect riding. Would be even better without all these darn speed cameras. Spoils the fun remarkably.
What irks me is: why can't they apply the same road quality to the entire tunnel, including KPE? Coming from MCE to KPE it's like suddenly running into a narrow hole with a road as bumpy as a village drive. Luckily the silly limit of 70 is gone. Now, including the grace tolerance of the cameras one can go 90 in the tunnel. Finally a decent speed.

What bike are you riding? I usually don't set the cameras off even at 130km/h

Please don't park your bike in the tunnel with your boyfriend with the curtain down. You'll set on the alarm.

Super4. But I don't think the cameras are selective enough not to capture motorcycles. Maybe the cameras in MCE are not working yet?

Just as I was explaining to a foreign friend that this is the smoothest road in Singapore, my car took a small bump. There was silence in the car after that. This is in the direction from ECP to Marina Coastal Drive.

A small hiccup but one should never speak too early.

But I like the fact that there are 5 lanes. All expressways should have 5 lanes, especially with so many 70km limit vehicles occupying most of the lanes, leaving the overtaking lane for passenger cars.

or perhaps they can't detect the mass? i've cut quite a few red lights when i was tired and not paying attention but so far, no problem.

the real problem lies with the new cameras that they were testing out along Upper Thomson Road. even when my wheel just went slightly over the line, they went off
