Default Couple of birds at the Zoo.

A quick trip to the zoo and some pics of the wild birds residing there. In terms of technicals for the shot of the Crimson, the reflections off the mirror only required +1/3 compensation, which shows the e-ttl2 performs pretty ok.

Storky at the zoo a bit difficult to shoot because he likes to sit in the shade, unlike the one at BG. Can't wait for the BG renovations to be completed so I can go and visit Storky again

Nice pics. Nice bg for the crimson sunbird. Didn't know the zoo had a resident storkie, where does he hang out usually?

thanks for the comments guys. Yup, Storky is a regular at the 'man-made' pond at the Zoo. Actually, I've seen a pair of them at the pond before... if only they would perch side-by-side for me to shoot.
