Like your framing too. Do you crop some of the shoots? If so, care to share how u standardise into the frames?

the lioness and the last pix was cropped to isolate the subject I want to show. The framing done with scripts in PS CS

mervin told me, softness at 400mm and recommended me to shoot slightly below that

Oic....didn't know about that too. Below 400mm, seems like tack sharp to me...

dunno why he say the 100-400 is the worst in sharpness for the L range

from what i read and experience, most zoom lens tend to have softness at its end and therefore better to shoot slightly above or below its ends.
don't know why it is so too.

this is the only L lens i own, so not chance to really compare and from what i read....
