Dear Forum,
Newbie with underused E-300 here. May I know how to make the best out of my E-300 kit to take picture of stage performance. I know not much about photography and do not have anything beyond the kit. Many thanks. |

If its a standard stage show then flash wont be allowed... so you need to use iso400 on your E-300 and later run the file thru some noise reduction software. you can try some shots at iso 800 too and see if iso400 can do the trick then stay with it dont use iso800. shoot in raw

Perhaps using the Museum mode in the scene mode might give good results if you are not too familar with A,S, WB settings.

I really impress the quality of the pictures that taken by museum mode. It only appiled indoor only... Point taken... Museum mode only can record Jpeg format.. it cannot record to raw format. ![]() Last edited by Merciless_Knight; 5th June 2005 at 11:50 PM. |

Nice blend of reds. Great handholding for a tele lens. Facial expressions detailed, eyes captivating while hand gestures convey dance in motion. Thanks for sharing. Cheers, |

Hi Fazli, thanks for sharing. Very nice picture indeed.
I did try out your suggestions, guys. But not being close enough to the stage or having a tripod handy, I don't have any good picture to share. Otherwise, your advices actually worked. thanks.
