    Based on reviews. It's everywhere. Tamron non vc version is better than the vc version based on hearsay.

    Anyway I'm selling my non vc version if anyone here interested. Changing to sigma or nikon since tamron focusing quite noisy for shooting seminars.

    If you're not shooting professionally you might also consider the older Tamron 28-75 f2.8. If for paid jobs I guess you will already know which lenses are suitable for your style

    I think you are referring to a different lens, the Tamron 17-50. Coolthought is talking about the Tamron 24-70 VC where there is no non-VC version
