Default wah... interesting new samsung camera...

new samsung Pro815

very interesting set of features:

8mp, 28-420mm (15x) zoom f2.2 - 4.6, 3.5 inch lcd, manual zoom, focus and ev compensation rings on the lens, colour lcd on top for waist level shooting

sigh, no IS, no tilt/swivel lcd, evf not that great, and no idea how good the lens actually is, or if it can really give good pix at iso800.

but good lah, should keep pushing the boundaries...

Yeah, really interesting spec from Samsung.

Schneider is a good lens design company but not sure how well
it does for such a long zoom. Sounds like a Leica 12x zoom
but even longer (15x but with variable aperture)...

Emmmm, not sure which manufacturer supplies the CCD?

Prepare tripod and super glue so that you can glue the tripod to this 15X, without IS cam permanently...
