Took some photos of my sis's hamster. These are the best of the lot. Comments are greatly welcomed.

Hi Slimz,
Good effort there, I like #1, as it brings out the nocturnal nature of the hamster well. My comments are that you shutter speed is too slow for the fast moving hamster. As such you can see that the hamster is not sharp and blurry. As for composition, the subject is abit too centered give some space to the direction where the hamster is looking. Applying the rule of a third in this situation especially the #2 pic will enhance the composition. A little caution here - hamster being small and nocturnal, be cautious not to flash it too much (not that I am not saying you have done so) as they can be easily stressed. Cheers ![]() |
