going to bird park or zoo???

do any of you wildlife peeps go to the zoo or birdpark to shoot photos of animals?
or does that seem too ridiculous to you experts here?

there are plenty of pictures of animals and birds from our local animal parks.
there are even some from foreign zoos too, why do u ask ???

I find birds very interesting to shoot especially the vibrant colours of the feathers of some birdies

Think it is just a matter of preference, each type of shoot ie, captive animals/birds or non captive has its own challenges. I personally prefer the challenge of non captive, as it is cheaper cos no entrance charges
