hope it is not offending if i ask this question...

why don't you peeps take star trails using Film? it involves less hassles ( go through those stackings, noise cancellation) and in fact, i felt that film quality is much better then digital stacking (even though you can edit and stuffs like that).. is digital really that good ?

I encountered a lot of problems doing star trails with dslr... CCD noise, hotspots..etc

Will be shooting slides for the next star trails outing now... Velvia 50 anyone?

how about this friday night @ punggol LRT Station "KADALOOR". No ineresting foreground though. unless go to the canal, but must bring insect repellant and black plastic bag incase it rains, can cover the camera bag as it is a long walk (10min) to the LRT.

anyone got a tent? can just set one up for the sake of a foreground and light paint it from inside.

KADALOOR sounds like some Star Wars galaxy system.. ahaha..

    Is the outing confirmed?

Don't forget to check the latest weather at...

    www.nea.gov.sg

The good news is that the moon is going to be only 12% full after 2am. Hope the clouds clear on time.

Alt location: Use the jetty at Punggol End for foreground. Icarus has seen it... is it doable? Can "run" to bus stop if r**n comes.

there are only 2 jedis left in the galaxy after part 3.. therefore anakin fulfilled part of the prophecy.. "Bring balance to the force" -2 good 2 evil.

The man Luke stays with is his uncle.

The training Yoda wants Obiwan to go thru is to BECOME 1 with the Force. This is why when he died in Ep 4(or 5) he can still speak to Luke and he has no physical body left. That is also the reason why Yoda said he had contacted Obiwan's master Gon-Jin.

If you remembered when Yoda passed away, he too didn't leave a physical body behind.

It is a skill more powerful than any Sith.

cant recall the Gon-Jin character in Part 4, 5, 6 lay.

actually the drak side is more powerfull. remember how luke strugle to fight the mushroom head? he almost lost it. count him lucky there is still abit of human in mr mushroom head.

like in real life, to get darkness, you need zero energy. but to bring light, you need energy, energy as we know is not indefinate. so who has the upper hand?

gon-jin died in Ep2.. or was it Ep1.. He mastered the special skill and contacted Yoda. So Yoda wants Obiwan to train while he is in seclusion. ding ding.. falls into place now?
