Default how to leave your D70 in IR remote control permanently?

Anyone know how can i enable my D70 permanently in IR remote mode?

due to my previouse experience. D70 will change back to normal mode after some idle if you didnt use the IR remote.

Can i or anyway to make it or set it to permanent IR remote ? until i change it back manually to normal ?

No way, not until Nikon include this possibility in the next firmware upgrade.

The cam change back to normal not because of idling, but due to the preset timing. Longest possible (IR mode on) is 15min.

Wondering if it consumes more power from the battery.
