Be very careful when you're using flash photography.

Fabrics' details are washed out. Esp white shirts and gowns.
The washed out details can be quite disturbing. And watch out for the background. 1 shot shows the background a pipe running around.

Use flash to your advantage and not simply to light up the area.

thanks for the pointers

will heed your advice but i think the white is washed out cos i used the diffuse glow filter in PS.
