If I'm not wrong O-Sensei wasn't drafted into the Imperial Army during WWII due to his poor health.

Its a beautiful martial arts I must say. Unfortunately most people seems to see martial arts as a load of bull and they'd usually say, "Use gun and *bang* die liao. Where got need martial arts?"

My sifu told me long ago martial art is for self defence, not to knock somebody block off! A story goes something like this a martial art expert was once accosted by 3 robbers. Later, his disciple enquired as to whether he gave them a good thrashing, he replied no, as I ran away as fast as i could ??? Althought he could easily had done that, he ran away not wanting to hurt any of them. Cool!
