come to think about it... is every passerby on the streets polite as well? some will shove you around, step on your shoes without an apology... so there will always be different sort of ppl around everywhere... just give & take...

Well, can't blame all people who use all cap also because some people just don't know the rules of electronic communication. Just tell them nicely about this rule.

You might be refering to the sell thread that you start.
if it so,allow me to give my opinion.
i find that faran comment was not rude,as a potential buyer,he was just confirming if a product posted was really as stated. He had the right to do so.
Unless that he was comparing price, saying that XX shop is selling lower or boosting he can get lower, then i consider that very rude.
Sorry if you don't agree with me but just my view.

I seconded zaxh81. I saw the message too. My personal view is the message is not offensive per se. The NUS guy was just clarifying on some of the point. a message can be perceived differently. The common question that some of us might have heard before; Do you see the glass half-empty or half-full?...

Stay cool, bro...

then he should have ask only about the product and not make comments on the buyer himself

do read it carefully....its more like a personal attack

i wonder how one arrives at a conclusion that a person is rude when he does not take off the caps? be more tolerant.

jialuvqr, don't get too mad abt that Faran thingy. Even we two had misunderstanding. Personally i guess he really wanted to know if it's MINT as stated. But maybe he should had PM you directly.

Personally I think if its a posting error, just indicate in the open via the actual post to get clarfication. (so far there's no posting to follow up on the acrtual condition)

Rather than misunderstanding carry on till actual meetup, both parties does not agree what is what.

Unless someone want to cover up, and hoodwink..

Just sms n PM I think its getting personal.
The guy also try to bring the price of the product down??
Or really damn free.

Anyway most of the CSers agree that its not rude by Faran, so your own thoughts - jialuvqr

Aiya, all the time lah, you meet all sort of funny dick-heads around, not only in Clubsnap, in my workplace too. They're everywhere lor. Some of the clubnappers may also think I'm a nasty guy too, becos I poked their backsides by saying their photos sucks or having a different views from their ignorant views etc. But who cares, man? Anyway, they can say whatever they like, and I say whatever I want.. Haha.. It's the way the world revolves.. But frankly, in person, I'm a super nice guy.. hehehe...

"I talk loudly doen't me I'm disrespectful" to a prison officer

Haha, the "Sell-&-Buy" forum AGAIN huh.. Aiyo, you can meet all kind of silly people asking silly questions lah. I posted a couple of Sell threads on the forum. Majority of them who post threads to S&B are just too free lah. 99% are just pass-by's, asking questions just to sound intelligent. Only 1% is geniune buyers. Just ignore these people lor.. These people get a kick out of making others angry an piss-off. Haha.. Anyway, chances are misunderstanding is usually the cause.

Oh, do I sound rude here? Get a life then if I does. Haha..

actually ppl who sms in caps are mostly older generation who are trying to cath up ans smsing also. had a friend who sms me all the time with cap and spell name wrongly and no punctuation or proper sentence...plain rude bum if you read his message but if you know him he is such a nice guy that you will know he will never be rude to you like it appeared in the message

Those ppl who sms in caps etc, most of the time they do not mean to be rude. They are just unaware of the sms/internet etiquette e.g. CAPS = shouting. Normally i'll just tactfully educate them regarding the matter.

Sorry mate, but can't see any personal attacks in his message on the forum....he was just trying to find out if your description of the camerabeing MINT was the same as that held by Clubsnap B&S forum

Quote: "I am sorry but do you think that your camera fulfils the criteria of MINT as described in the forum?".......because from your own product description it is a used camera, but the Clubsnap forum handles MINT as being: Description: Like new. Not used since it left the shop. No signs of use.
Also known as: Mint.

So, he did find a difference with your description.......but you mentioned PM and SMS in a rude manner, is it about your ad or not? Or is it regarding something else?
