ya seems to be breeding season for them. actually, not sure whether its butterfly or moth...

thanks for the contrast comment - still getting a feel for my D70 plus this photo is out of camera with no PS. any idea how such photos may be improved?

I don't know what happened on Saturday night but it seems a lot of same kind of moths flying around MRTs. I saw one inside the cabinet along Jurong East to Bukit Batok....then when I come back at the station, I saw another one.

Hi there flambe, you could try adjusting the brightness and contrast. Also sharpening of the picture to get more detail to pop out, though i think in the picture the camera's actually not focussed on the moth. If you don't have photoshop, you could try picasa, a freebie from google. It's great for simple adjusting to test out ideas.
