Thread: Pics from Sony Ericsson K750i - first 2 megapix phone camera!

Default Pics from Sony Ericsson K750i - first 2 megapix phone camera!

Just got a Sony Ericsson K750i yesterday...pretty interesting camera features!

2 megapixel CMOS, auto-focus, photolight, white balance (auto, daylight, cloudy, flourescent, incandescent), macro mode (about 2 - 3 cm), 3 shoot modes (panorama, burst, frames, video), self timer, special effects (black & white, negative, sepia, solarize) etc...

Here are some test shots (only resized and saved for web):

Macro, 1/60, f2.8 (not kidding ), ISO 100, photolight, auto white balance. AWB doesn't really work here. Strong green cast.

This one's with Flourescent WB (everything else same as above). Not perfect, but OK.

I'll take some outdoor shots tomorrow... From the reviews, the camera should work much better under bright daylight.

The equipment can only bring you so far - the rest of the photographic journey is done by you.

    got a few questions...

can this phone do IR pics?
can this phone use an external flash like the F32X?
can this phone attach a bounce card to the flash?

    hehe...

Can you also take some portrait photos, interested to see how it handles skin tone reproduction.

I'll give it a try if you can sponsor an IR filter for me (77mm thread one)

Sony has an optional external flash unit for the K750i...no kidding!
can this phone attach a bounce card to the flash?
If you don't mind looking like a clown, you can definitely DIY one

Gadget: Portraits ah...no model leh. Can take some snaps later...

Bought a tripod or monopod for it? The pics are quite good.
