Thanks to Simon for letting me have a pass last minute to shoot when I happen to be there.
Newbie attempt at event coverage, comments and critics most appreciated. #1 - Launching of the Singapore Street Festival 2005 by Dr Vivian Balakrishnan and Ms Elim Chew. ![]() #2 - ClubSNAP Admin Simon Goh receiving the certificate of appreciation from Dr Vivian Balakrishnan for SSF '05. ![]() #3 - Unveiling "Rejecks" ![]() Last edited by flash77; 30th May 2005 at 11:18 PM. Witness, I never use flash for the shot, thought 'can make it', only realise the lighting not enough. Newbie attempt, will try to be careful next time.
Out of the 3 multiple shots from that angle, either confetti blocking the minister or her, so I choose one that left the minister's face cleared of confetti. Have replaced the previous image to a slightly correctly-exposed photo and removed the annonying light. Last edited by flash77; 29th May 2005 at 02:54 PM. |

kenny, you finally posted some comments on my newbie attempt.
Current award photo taken @ 1/50, ISO500, no flash. Trying to see how i can 'save' the underexposed photo. Last edited by flash77; 29th May 2005 at 01:31 AM. |

wah lao...dont say me untill like this lay.. If you have shot in RAW, there's always help from the EV.. Try raising to ISO640 and see how it goes.. I belive its possible for a good exposure as you are using a 2.8 len.. Just my newbie 2 cents.. . |
