    Default Partition of new CPU HDD

    i just bought a new pc last nite to replace my current one at work,but i forgot to get the guy partition my HDD for me

    Are there any Freeware to do this partitoning?

    Or must i do it in the DOS ?

    any website that teach how to do partitioning in DOS ?

    using xp ?

    control panel > performance and maintenance > admin tools > com. managements > disk management

    do a right click on your drive and u can see some commands .. should be tat way

    I believe you can do partition on the fly for Win2K, try htp://www.ntfaq.com/

    fdisk loh. Very easy. Idiot proof...

    Are we so dependant on GUI now that ppl are beginning to forget that the roots to any operating system is still the Command Line?
