again.... Olympus came off with top marks on accurate color renditions ..... this is crucial for example, when shooting food

the 12mm wide end (24mm equivalent) of the zoom lens takes in the environment well with little distortion

Color Creator can be dedicated onto the 2 top dials next to shutter button ..... fine tuning is the best thing about this .... its essentially on-the-fly micro adjustments of Hue and Saturation rather than the usual pre-programmed or low/normal/high levels that might not be to your liking..... and ALOT easier than trying to tweak it via a tiny curve in-camera

It worked perfectly all day today ...... just had some fogging behind the viewfinder eyepiece ..... nothing serious which cleared up after a couple of hours under the sun

last one to share today ...... I remembered specifically blowing up this image below to 100% to check for fringing and bleeding ..... little tiny bits but overall it was shocking to see the sensor/processing engine perform that well in controlling these 2 things

Very very nice photos..... It's not the camera, but the man behind the camera... Great shots!
Pictures always should have a special story behind it or a special meaning to the photographer.

At Kuta beach in Bali, I had only the use of the Olympus 12-40 f2.8 zoom lens
The lens was wayyyy short for the intended application of shooting my daughter's first surf lesson, subject being a good 40-60m away
So no choice but to crop the image and hope for the best

    1. Scene was captured also using C-AF tracking (Continuous Autofocus tracking)

    2. I had already went for a swim in the sea a few minutes earlier before shooting.... I handled the camera system with wet salty hands in waist deep water with moderate waves trying to get in as close as I could. As a result the camera received a fair bit of salt water splashes but it was not dunked into the sea .... I put it under a shower head and blasted the camera with hot fresh water to rinse off the salts ... and took a hairdryer to it in the room later after drying it down .... it survived and still working very well

    3. AWB (Auto White Balance) measured the scene very nicely

    The original scene captured

Cropped image (touched up only Crop, Levels and unsharp mask filter used

Cropped image was quite satisfactory for me

One photo tells a thousand words

2 or more photos patched together tells a better story
