Bearing in mind that the 1Ds is targetted at a different market than the 1D (studio vs photojournos), the pricing for 1D (and the demand) will not change that much.

1Ds = studio and general photography
1D = sports and journalism
D60 = prosumer DSLR

1Ds won't push down the price of D60 too much. They co-exist very well.

I do not think that the price of the Canon 1D will be affected very much by the launch of the 1Ds...

The Canon 1D is a very niche market camera targeted at people who need a fast camera that eats up CF space like nobody's business ie 8fps...i do not think Canon will shoot themselves in the foot by offering the 1Ds that has similar features...
