I wonder what will be the standard for push ups. normal, diamond or spider pushup :? then the back and the legs must form a str8 line without arching? ;?
After push up, their arms will be too tired and nobody can pass chin up

i imagine the scenario where soldiers need to leap across a 1m gap... and they all fail
They should increase the gap of MRT and platform to 1 M during peak hour.
Only those who can jump across can ride the MRT to work.
This would greatly reduce overcrowding and make them fit.

Since there are so many running events in SG. They should just let NSmen join the event and scrap the test.

That is Israel's standard. They have longer legs, one step = three steps for Asians.

No longer valid for Singapore. The younger generation grows taller, catching up with Western population.

May be that is the real reason why they increase the distance

This reveal you are in the baby boom era. Yes, we have to run with full water bottle and riffle. Somehow it is OK during those days but with Nike shoes also got problem now. Haha

Could it due to the change in weather or computer problem?

The distance and timing is stated in the article if you bothered to read it

Aiya. No more army, best. We can outsource our defence lor, China and India got lots of cheap soldiers to hire leh. Like that we free our people up for more constructive job, like becoming keyboard warriors, couch generals and complain kings and queens mah.
